Project Overview
SEWA Rural (Society for Education, Welfare, and Action–Rural) is a voluntary development organisation that has delivered health and development programs across rural, tribal India since 1980. Its work spans comprehensive eye care, primary health care, reproductive and child health, and safe motherhood and newborn care, alongside economic development and women's empowerment initiatives.
As its services grew, SEWA Rural recognised the need to modernise its IT infrastructure with newer technologies and more secure practices. The organisation wanted to protect its ongoing service delivery data, strengthen network security, improve data backup, and make it easier for staff to access resources and work remotely, so it turned to Exigo Tech for help.
