The main challenge for GitHub Copilot adoption is not acquiring licences; it’s turning AI-assisted development into a repeatable engineering capability. Exigo Tech's GitHub Copilot Enablement service helps engineering organisations establish GitHub Enterprise foundations, configure security and governance, optimise licensing and AI credit consumption, and train developers on real repositories and workflows.
Microsoft Partner
Measurable Productivity
Track adoption depth and pull request throughput, not just how many seats are switched on.
Secure by Default
Single sign-on, enterprise policies and content exclusions are in place before the first seat is assigned.
Predictable AI Spend
Budgets and model policies keep GitHub AI Credit use within limits finance has agreed.
Consistent Code Quality
Custom instructions and Copilot code review apply your team standards to every pull request.
Developers Who Go Further
Hands-on coaching moves developers from autocomplete to agent mode and the cloud agent.
Our GitHub Copilot enablement services move engineering teams from fragmented AI usage toward a governed, measurable, and scalable AI-assisted development capability.

We set up GitHub Enterprise Cloud with SAML single sign-on through Microsoft Entra ID, recommend Copilot Business or Copilot Enterprise for each team, and connect billing to an Azure subscription where that suits your agreement, so seats and usage sit in one place.
We configure Copilot policies at enterprise, organisation and repository level, set content exclusions for sensitive files, approve models and MCP access, and stream audit logs. Where needed, we add GitHub Secret Protection and Code Security.
Short, role-based sessions on your own repositories teach developers to prompt well, use agent mode and Copilot code review, and hand well-scoped issues to the Copilot cloud agent. Team champions keep momentum going.
We write repository and organisation custom instructions, prompt files and review guidelines that capture your stack, conventions and security rules, so Copilot suggestions and reviews match how your team already works.
We switch on Copilot usage metrics and the impact dashboard, set budgets for GitHub AI Credits, and give leaders a monthly scorecard of adoption phase, pull request throughput and spend, with actions for teams falling behind.
Developers spend less time on boilerplate, tests and routine reviews, and more on design and problem-solving.
Sensitive files stay out of Copilot reach, and leaked secrets are blocked before they land in a repository.
Leaders see adoption depth and pull request output side by side, so seat decisions rest on evidence.
GitHub AI Credit budgets and model policies prevent surprise overage at month-end.
Developers learn to brief and review agents safely, ready for the next wave of AI-assisted engineering.

Learn moreA GitHub Copilot enablement partner helps you roll out Copilot properly rather than simply buying seats. We set up GitHub Enterprise and single sign-on, configure policies and spending limits, coach developers on agent mode and code review, and report adoption and cost, so engineering leaders can see whether Copilot is paying its way.
Copilot Business suits most teams. It includes organisation-wide policies, content exclusion and a pooled monthly allowance of GitHub AI Credits. Copilot Enterprise needs GitHub Enterprise Cloud and adds a larger credit allowance plus knowledge bases built from your repositories and documentation. We often recommend a mix, with Enterprise only where it earns its higher price.
Since 1 June 2026, Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise use GitHub AI Credits. Each licence adds a monthly allowance to a shared pool. Code completions stay unlimited, while chat, agents and code review draw on credits based on the model and tokens used. Admins set budgets, and usage can be billed through an Azure subscription.
Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise give you controls to protect sensitive code. We set content exclusions so chosen files do not inform suggestions or reviews, enforce sign-in through Microsoft Entra ID, limit which models and MCP servers are allowed, and stream audit logs to your security tools. We also explain the gaps, such as editor modes exclusions do not yet cover.
We use GitHub Copilot usage metrics and impact dashboard. Instead of counting active seats, it groups developers by adoption phase, from code completions to agents, and links each phase to pull request throughput and merge speed. We combine this with spend in a monthly scorecard, so leaders can judge return and target coaching.
The Copilot cloud agent picks up a well-defined GitHub issue, works on it in a secure environment and opens a pull request for your team to review. It suits tests, small fixes and documentation. We help you decide which repositories allow it, set its policies, and coach developers to write issues an agent can finish.
Yes, and it is common. We find out who uses which plan, move people onto organisation-managed Copilot licences, and switch on single sign-on so access follows your identity policies. Your code then sits under your own policies, audit logs and spending controls, instead of individual accounts you cannot see or manage.
Yes. We help engineering teams across Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Wollongong, set up GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Copilot. Coaching runs on-site or online, and we can connect GitHub billing to your existing Azure subscription, so Copilot spend appears alongside your other Microsoft cloud costs.
